Quality
“We at Kissui take great pride in the quality and workmanship of our products because we have comprehensive quality control programs that encompass all the important stages of the stainless steel and precision pipe manufacturing process. To be more specific, there are mainly three crucial aspects in the quality control of the piping production. First of all, the incoming coil is carefully inspected and tested to ensure that
it meet all the applicable requirements of specification and end use application. Then during the piping production, welded steel pipe will be visually examined for any cosmetic defect from time to time. At the same time, a certain number of pipe samples will be collected for physical verification and testing for compliance with customers’ requirements. Finally, the finished welded steel pipe is subjected to further inspection to ensure it meets all the appropriate with specifications and the packaging requirements. What is more, without exception, the finished welded steel pipe is constantly monitored throughout the entire manufacturing process to ensure that they are in accordance with all applicable specifications. “
Destructive & non-destructive testing
In assuring the quality of our products, our own in-house testing facilities play an important role. Our laboratory is well equipped to perform a wide variety of both destructive and non-destructive quality tests.
Destructive testing includes:
- Tensile tests
- Impact tests (up to -196 degrees Celsius)
- Bend tests
- Hardness tests
- Metallurgical tests (metal analysis, macro & micro examination)
Non-destructive testing includes:
- Eddy current testing
- Ultrasonic testing
- Hydro testing
- X-ray testing (radiographic & radioscopic)
- Positive material indentification testing
